Denise Grandin
Denise earned BA Degree in Sociology from Keuka College where she was inducted into the Pi Gamma Mu International Honor Society in Social Science.
Prior to relocating to South Carolina from Delaware in 2007, Denise served as a Regional Director for the Office of Quality Management with Delaware Health and Social Services, Division of Developmental Disabilities Services (DDDS). In her role as Regional QM Director, Denise was responsible for the oversight of the evaluation of programs and supports provided to individuals receiving both community-based and facility-based services throughout Kent and Sussex Counties in southern Delaware.
Denise was also a member of the DDDS Senior Management and participated in several division-wide initiatives. She served as co-lead during CARF re-accreditation and was instrumental in the development of the DDDS Quality Management Strategy in cooperation with the Human Services Research Institute (HSRI) as part of the Division’s QA/QI Systems Change Grant project. Denise routinely represented OQM on state-wide committees, including Performance Analysis, Policy and Records, Risk Management, and the Quality Improvement Initiative, an interdivisional task force organized to share information regarding QA/QI endeavors.
Most recently, Denise worked in the Social Services Department at NHC Healthcare in Garden City, SC, where she acted as a resident and family advocate.
Denise enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and learning to play golf.
