Male Group Care Intensive Services
The Male Group Care Intensive Services Program (GCIS) at Lighthouse Care Center of Conway assists adolescent males who are between the ages of 12 and 21. Adolescent males in this program live in a secure, 26-bed unit where activities are well structured within a therapeutic milieu.
GCIS programming focuses on a multi-faceted approach to helping adolescents with behavioral disorders. The following is a list of services offered by Lighthouse:
Individual treatment includes, but is not limited to:
- Individual Sessions
- Group Care
- Family Involvement
- Focus Groups
- Recreational Activities
- Independent Living Skills
- Anger Management Skills
- Socialization Training
- Psycho-Special Educational Curriculum (private school within the confines of the facility)
- Vocational Training
- Transportation Services for Medical Appointments and Educational/Recreational Outings
