Sexually Aggressive Prevention
The Sexually Aggressive Prevention Program at Lighthouse Care Center of Conway assists adolescent males who are between the ages of 12 and 21 upon admission. Adolescent males in this program live in a secure 26-bed unit where activities are well-structured within a therapeutic milieu.
The Group Care Intensive Services (GCIS) program offered by Lighthouse Care Center of Conway (LCC) focuses on a multi-faceted approach to treatment of adolescents with behavioral disorders, to include those with a history of sexual aggression or sexually reactive behavior. The mission statement of the Sexually Aggressive Prevention Program (SAPP) is as follows:
To provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for sexually aggressive or reactive residents, and when possible, include their families and caregivers in the treatment process.
The ultimate goal of the program is to prevent future sexual aggression by the resident the resident by changing the maladaptive behaviors learned earlier in life.

- Group Care
- Family Involvement
- Focus Groups
- Recreational Activities
- Independent Living Skills
- Anger Management Skills
- Socialization Training
- Psycho-Special Educational Curriculum (private school within the confines of the facility)
- Transportation Services for Medical Appointments and Educational/Recreational Outings
